After another disappointing post-season, the Calgary Stampeders decided to focus on ‘new’ mantra to start the 2013 season — Whatever it Takes — a phrase written in latin on the shoulder of their third jersey for decades.
The rallying cry echoed through the locker room and the stands — the fans were determined to do Whatever it Takes to get to the game and support their team.
And … it worked. The next season (The Year of the Horse) the Calgary Stampeders won the 102nd Grey Cup.
